St. George's 6th Form

St George's Church of England School Welcome to the St George’s Sixth Form web page. This is where you can find out some information about what it is like and what we do through the eyes of some of our pupils. The teachers are very nice and approachable people. (They paid us to say that!) Wednesday afternoons we have the opportunity to do Physical Education. This doesn’t mean running and sweating. It could be sports as simple as bowling, swimming, golf or tennis which are fun but still keeps you active. An example of our enrichment classes - this is First Aid. There are a variety of enrichment classes. For example First Aid, Spanish or Driving. These are fun lessons which can help increase our knowledge and the skills we learn can be used in everyday life. As a Sixth Form we like to participate in helping to raise money for charities such as Children in Need and Cancer Research. This picture was taken on “Pink Day” where we raised over £60 during Breast Cancer Awareness Week by wearing something pink for the day. The picture appeared in the local paper.
